- Where you were born and how have got to Russia?
- I live in Russia since 1997. Has arrived to Russia from Ukraine. And I was born in Armenia in the city of Charentsavan in 1978 on February, 28th, thanks mum, what not on February, 29th!
To tell the truth, about Armenia I cannot tell anything neither good, nor bad as I have left it when to me there were only 10 years. Also has not had time to see all of charm of Armenia.
In general my family often wandered from the country in the country from city in city. From Armenia we have left so - as the situation in republic was heated. Have left to Ukraine there there lived 5-6 years. In Ukraine all was good and is remarkable. And from Ukraine we have left for Russia as in city where we lived, there were no kurdish families and we were unique kurdish family. Parents wished to be closer to kurds.
When we still lived in Armenia my grandfather from fatherly party Sulejmanov Afo - very formed and intelligent person, worked as the teacher of German language and the principal, and it always told, that it comes from Kars (Kurdistan). The grandfather always convinced us that we on a nationality kurds, and on religion Ezidi. Logically it turns out, that we kurds - езиды! Also that our native land is Kurdistan
Unfortunately, I was not in Kurdistan!
- What style of music you prefer?
- In general I do not allocate favourite style in music as many styles like me it house. R ` n ` B, ethnic music, a crystal music, etc.
- Who helps you to write verses to songs?
- Verses to the songs 99 % are written by me, and 1 % help with family.
- What for you the most important in songs?
- In a song, first of all for me feelings, and then words and music are important.
- How listeners perceive your songs?
- Believe to me, my songs enjoy the big popularity among listeners. After my performance on holiday Navruz to me call practically from all corners of the Earth with congratulations. I have been surprised, when to me have called from Israel, but it was only the beginning, calls from England, France later acted, Belgium ? all and will not list!
- What was reaction of listeners to your performance to holiday Navruz?
- Reaction of listeners to my songs was 100 positive. And I during this moment did not experience, and on the contrary was proud of myself and the language. I am glad, that could to present in native, kurdish language new, unusual style in music, have opened a new, global side in kurdish culture!
In occasion of my performance on holiday Navruz in Moscow I wish to tell to all spectators of many thanks, that so have warmly apprehended three my new songs. It was the return answer to me, I write songs not for myself, and for the dear and valuable listeners. And still many thanks to all musicians, singers and groups which too participated in holiday Navruz.
- How there was a preparation for release of yours CD and preparation for holiday Navruz?
- Preparation for release CD went basically normally if, certainly to not consider strongly deadlines, for record of a new material. I have written down four new songs in current of three weeks. And here preparation for holiday Navruz was very prompt, strained as I wished to present on a holiday the best songs - сливки to spectators and furthermore to the constant listeners.
- On a holiday you have sung very old song Sayade Shame, but give it in fresher interpritation, than, without flattery I can tell, have subdued all listeners. How you can comment on it?
- In one fine day I have decided to listen to old kurdish songs, just it there was a song "Esmer Eman" in execution Sayade Shame and during the moment when I listened to this song the father has approached to me and has told, that this song is sung by the friend to its father and family Sajade Shame, to tell the truth, initially I have accepted it for the next joke, but the father has told to me history of friendship between my grandfather Sulejmanovym Afo and Sayade Shame. I have taken this information to data and have decided to make a remix and by that to revive old kind friendship between my grandfather and Sayade Shame on this song.
- There is nobody not a secret, that for kurds even a word Kurdistan sounds piously you again have surprised all listeners sung very beautiful song "Kurdistan". What can you tell about this song?
- Is one of my favourite songs. In it I express the feelings and I admit love to the girl, but it not simply girl, it is Kurdistan the accepted such image! I have started to write this song to 4 one o''clock in the morning and have finished in 8 o''clock in the morning. For four hours while I wrote this song not time on my eyes tears. Even at record at studio the sound producer was surprised, why in my voice there was a shiver, and on eyes of tear, in fact at record of other songs I smiled and pleased. Then I have translated it the text of a song and it too on eyes had tears and this day it even has cancelled record at studio!
Everywhere, where I sang a song "Kurdistan" at me there are tears on eyes. It was even on Наврозе.
- Than you would wish to be engaged in a life?
- I would like to be engaged round the clock in music as I very much love it, but vital situations do not give such opportunity and the most part of time to me should be earned on a daily bread in other fields of activity.
- What would you wish to wish your listeners?
- The world to your house!

The art-director of one of the Nizhniy Novgorod night clubs has brought to Nizhni Novgorod unexpected glory. SHAMS as it names itself(himself), has won first place in Moscow at musical festival " Kurdish rainbow " which collects singing kurds from all world. And at once picturesque нижегородец has received some offers to act on TV in Paris, Belgium and Germany. And on December, 23rd it leaves for shootings in the New Year''s program of RTR which will pass in Moscow club " Blizzard ".
